In a better place with my sewing machine

So I definitely have a love/hate relationship with my sewing machine.  I have been very successful in the past making HUGE window drapes and a beach bag.  Then I have tragic nights of late night cursing and crying because I can't figure out why the darn thing won't work right.

I was so desperate I put ads on craigslist asking for tutors and called local sewing places asking for tutorials.  Then, my local area had a Groupon for The Quilting Bee.  I snatched that up immediately and had my 2.5 hour tutorial on Monday.

The nice ladies at the Bee showed me how to use my machine, a lot of tricks that I didn't know about, and how to make a table runner above.

Since then, because we have power, I have started and finished a pattern I had for a little apron.  Here's the end result.  Reversible= sweet.

Currently I am working on a cove for my Ipad.  There is no pattern and I am just kind of winging it.

Can you tell that I am terrified that my machine will go crazy and me and stop working again?  Yes I am frantically making things until that happens.  Hopefully it will work for a while, and if not, I will find my way back to the Bee :)
